Bianca L. Singleton, M.B.A.

Executive Director

Co-Chairman

Affectionately known as “Miss Bee” by the beautifully budding youth she serves, Bianca L. Singleton is recognized for her dedication to mentorship, women’s empowerment, and work cultivating and progressing various nonprofit programs.

She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in English with a concentration in Creative Writing and a minor in the Spanish language/Black Diaspora Studies from Georgia College & State University in Milledgeville, Georgia, and a Master of Business Administration from Mercer University in Atlanta, Georgia. A lifelong scholar, she is currently studying for a Doctor of Education in Student Affairs Leadership.

Bianca is a true “servant leader,” illustrated by her founding of Precious Me Inc. (PMI). Through her leadership as the Executive Director and the support of other PMI volunteers, Bianca has transformed the lives of more than 250+ young women, and that number continues to grow each day.

Along with her service to her local community, Bianca is a nonprofit business management coach and consultant (B Singleton Consulting) to youth programs nationwide, working alongside local/national organizations such as Resurgence Leadership Foundation, Leadership Foundations, and MENTOR Georgia (National Mentoring Resource Center).

LaTisha Blakey

Chairman

LaTisha is a native of Washington DC who moved to the Atlanta area in 2011 where she spent six years before moving recently to the Houston Texas area.

She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Hospitality Management from Morgan State University and has worked in her field for over 20 years working for various companies such as Chick-fil-A, TGI Fridays, Bonefish Grill and most recently Topgolf as a Director of Operations. She describes herself as a hospitalitarian and is passionate about leading through her people.

LaTisha has always had a passion for serving others and although fulfilled in her career she wanted more. As a member of New Mercies Christian Church in Lilburn GA, she was looking for a way to serve in her church and community when she found Precious Me Inc.

Originally starting to serve in the program as a mentor, her passion for the growth and the vision of the organization eventually led to her serving in the role of Co-Chairman on the Board of Directors.

LaVolnée Stepney

Administration & Compliance Director

La Volnée Stepney was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, where she attended school in the Atlanta Public School System and college at Clayton State University before joining the military.    

Nikki served in leadership as a Senior Non-Commissioned Officer in both the United States Army and United States Army Reserves in the fields of Administrative Support and IT Network Engineering.  Nikki’s background also includes 30 plus years of experience in the government, corporate, non-profit, legal, education, and sports sectors. 

Her knowledge base consists of office, personnel and project management; hardware/software/database management; policies, procedures, and training; conference and event planning; and customer and public relations. 

Nikki has a Paralegal Certificate and received her Associate of Applied Science Degree in Criminal Justice from Central Texas College, Killeen, Texas.  She is currently pursuing further educational degrees at the University of Maryland in Legal Studies and Forensics, as well as Cuyahoga Community College in Court Reporting and Close Captioning.

Danielle Brantley

Grants and Fundraising Manager

Danielle Brantley’s superpowers are mentoring and grant writing. As a grant writer, former educator, and mentor, Danielle has over 15 years of experience serving youth and non-profits, closing opportunity gaps by combating barriers such as poverty and low self-esteem. Danielle lives by the motto: Be the change. She is eager to use her superpowers to help the least of these.

Danielle obtained her Bachelor of Arts in English from Georgia College. She is the Grants
Director at Communities In Schools of Georgia. Outside of her work life, she most enjoys
traveling, reading, volunteering, roller coasters, roller skating, and spending quality time with her family and friends.

LaToria "Torri" Jones, M.S.L.D.

Training & Evaluation Coordinator

LaToria “Torri” Jones was born and raised in Miami Florida. An only child to military parents, she has always held a passion for mentoring young teenage girls.

Through her talents as a dancer, Torri has been able to teach girls through the art of dance. A longtime member of New Mercies Christian Church Dance Ministry since 2007, she served as Director of Dance from 2017-2023.

LaToria holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Clayton State University and a Master of Strategic Leadership Development from Clayton State University.

Currently, she works in training and development as AVP Homeowner Association Services Trainer with Bank of California. She also owns her own mobile dance business New Rhythm Dance LLC, where she teaches one on one dance lessons, summer camps, summer dance intensives at various studios and special event performances.

Chariety Sapp, M.S.

Program Director

Chariety Sapp is from Burke County, Georgia. She joined the CDC in 2011 where she works in the Division of Laboratory Science, National Center for Environmental Health, Emergency Response Branch.  She is a chemist specializing in sample logistics and laboratory automation for the Incident Response Laboratory.  Ms. Sapp’s primary laboratory work involves emergency preparedness for chemical response and exposure events.    Ms. Sapp also serves as the point of contact for shipping and receiving for the national Chemical Laboratory Response Network and the international Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons.

Ms. Sapp received her B.S. in chemistry from Georgia State University (Atlanta, GA).  Her work at the CDC has led to the pursuit of a M.S. in Clinical Toxicology from the University of Florida (Gainesville, FL).  Prior to joining the CDC, Ms. Sapp worked as an analytical chemist for a pharmaceutical subsidiary of Johnson and Johnson analyzing opiate-derived and controlled-substance active pharmaceutical ingredients used in medications and medical devices made by Johnson and Johnson. 

Ms. Sapp’s love for chemistry and mentoring lead her to partner with her sister to start Sisters Love Chemistry LLC. This business venture will empower elementary and middle school age girls to fall in love with and pursue chemistry as a lasting career.

Kandyce Hylick, Ph.D., M.P.H.

Curriculum Chairman

Kandyce Hylick is a public health practitioner who holds a doctorate from the University of Georgia’s Department of Health Promotion and Behavior. She is passionate about women’s health issues, focusing on improving women’s physical and mental health during pregnancy and postpartum. Kandyce also serves as a board member for Precious Me Inc., where she lends her expertise in program development and evaluation to aid in curriculum development and planning women’s health seminars for the community. As a public health practitioner, she has developed and revised programs for state health departments, community-based organizations, and private institutions. As an evaluator, she has developed and analyzed organizational and national health policies. In addition to her technical expertise, she has over ten years of educational and practical experience in women’s health, maternal and child health, and mental health. She also researches diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging and has consulted on research practices, organizational policies, and procedures to ensure alignment with DEI&B frameworks. 

Kandyce has a keen understanding of physical and social sciences, earning her Bachelor of Science from Georgia State University and her Master of Public Health from Mercer University. She is currently a doctoral candidate on track to complete her Ph.D. in Health Promotion and Behavior from the University of Georgia in December 2023. Kandyce has been an instructor for women’s health and health promotion, has presented at several public health conferences, and served as a maternal mental health expert on panels. Her ultimate goal is to reduce maternal mental health disorders among birthing individuals and improve women’s well-being overall.  

Trish Williams, M.B.A., P.C.C

Wellness Coach

Trish Williams is an Atlanta native with a diverse background that includes years of military, non-profit and corporate experience in the accounting, management, and marketing disciplines. She is a well-rounded leader with 30+ years of leadership experience in the corporate, non-profit, military, and coaching sectors, with proven strategic decision-making and creative development skills. 

She received her MBA degree from Georgia Southern University, Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland University College and AAS in Accounting from Valdosta State University. She earned Professional Certified Coach (PCC) and Associate Certified Coach (ACC) credentials through the International Coaching Federation (IFC). 

She leverages her experience to be the best possible listener and coach to help her clients tap into their individual values and create a success plan to reach their desired goals. She brings to the table objectivity and a broad range of knowledge and experience to shine a light on areas her clients may not see. This insight helps her further explore possibilities in support of their success plan that centers around laser-focused strategies to change undesired behaviors and adopt a renewed mindset that foundational to lasting change. 

Her communication style is warm, nurturing, humorous, practical, and non-judgmental. She partners with her clients to identify their strengths, key skills, opportunities, challenges, and success blockers on the path to designing a laser-focused strategy and success road map. Trish is a coach who helps her client’s overcome obstacles, reach their goals, and celebrate their successes.
